The completion of the new Wembley Stadium (if they can finally get the right turf on it – this week has seen the turf been laid for the eleventh time!) has seen much new investment in the area, and many businesses have located here. Car hire in particular has swollen to keep up with demand as more and more people visit. This has meant that prices in the area have come down, as those with a background in economics will appreciate – increased supply encourages competition which encourages low prices! Budget cars are available to hire for under £50 a day and do many miles to the gallon, making your trip cheaper, to the outrageous Lamborghini Murciélago, costing over £1500 a day and doing around 10 miles to the gallon – if you have the cash, then why not! However, be warned, London weather is not conducive to soft tops!

Getting to the Wembley area takes roughly the same amount of time from any major London airport. Once you’ve landed you simply need to get on one of the direct links from the airport to London, and then take the tube to Wembley. Once you’re here you will struggle to walk down the street without seeing a car rental outlet, but if you’d rather keep your eyes locked onto the magnificent stadium then a quick search on Google Maps will pick out a plethora of car rental places local to your destination.
