I was rather daunted when I knew that I would be visiting London at the prospect of having to hire a car. I had no idea where I was going to get one from and did not really have time to mess about, when I arrived. However, I was grateful when a friend explained that they had car hire companies at the airport and I could even book one in advance of my cheap flight. It turned out that it was so easy to do and it saved me both a lot of worry and a lot of time, which was fantastic.
I guess it is probably obviously to people who travel a lot, that there will be car hire companies based at airports but I am not a regular traveller, in fact have only flown a few times and neither time did I need a hire car. It was fantastic to have the service on hand and to be able to book it all up beforehand so I knew that there would be a car there waiting for me and that it would be suitable for my needs. It really helped to make my journey a lot more relaxing and I was really happy when I arrived. Normally I am madly stressed and panicked and hate travelling but knowing that everything was well planned in advance meant that I felt so much better and actually enjoyed my trip as well as arriving in a much better frame of mind at the other end.

There is so much to see and do in London and a wide variety of activities must be sampled in order to truly appreciate the capital city and all its glory. There are all sorts of things to take part in, street shows to watch, museums to see, shops to sample; the only problem is that everything is so expensive. Everything costs money and in this age of recession, where everyone is clamouring for a budget holiday, the last thing you want to be doing is adding extra costs on that restrict what you’re able to do during your holiday and, if you can’t do what you want to do, then you’ll be much less likely to get the most out of your holiday.
If you are looking for a place to cut costs, by far the easiest way to do it is by hiring a cheap car. Of course, hiring a car is a necessity if you want the peace of mind of not having to negotiate the public transport system all the time, yet it need not be as expensive as can often be assumed. There are many companies that offer cheap car hire that you can no longer use price as an excuse not to hire a car. If you hire a car cheaply then you have much more money to spend on pursuing a holiday that you will enjoy and that will allow you to get the most out of London. Don’t save where you don’t have to!
